SIXTEENTH SUNDAY OF YEAR C:
22nd July 2007
Fr Frank writes:
Fr Charles will be arriving in the parish some time during this week and will spend the last weekend of July
and the whole of August in the Presbytery. Whilst he is here to celebrate Mass, his stay also affords him a
very necessary holiday from his onerous responsibilities in Uganda. I'm sure you will all make him welcome,
will take him for days out and, most importantly, will welcome him into your homes.
May our welcoming and generous God bless you.

Sunday Smile:
Q: Why is it that when you mix water and flour you get glue, but if you add eggs and sugar, you get a cake?
Where does the glue go?
A: It stays, and makes the cake stick to your bottom, hips and thighs!
