TWENTY-SIXTH SUNDAY OF YEAR C:
30th September 2007
Fr Frank writes:
As I write this, I have still not heard from Fr Charles. Like me, I am sure you are praying for him and his
people in Uganda. Many thanks for your generous giving - a bank transfer has gone to Uganda with our
blessing.
The new St Augustine's seems to be working well, and I have heard nothing but praise of it. It will be
formally blessed by our bishop on Thursday evening. I am hoping for a good turnout. As well as ecclesiastical
dignitaries and other clergy, we shall be welcoming the Mayor and Mayoress of Chelmsford; representatives from
Plater Claibourne (architects); F J French (builders); many members of the CRSS; and past parishioners to this
very special evening. The service of blessing will be followed by a bring-and-share supper.
May God richly bless you all.
Fr Frank
