CHRIST THE KING:
25th November 2007
Youth Sunday
Fr Frank writes:
As I write this the Deanery Clergy visit to Rome and Assisi is still a vivid memory. We celebrated Mass in
some wonderful places and remembered you at all of these.
Today we celebrate Youth Sunday, and are grateful to Michael Barwick who will be speaking about Walsingham
House, and to all our young people who have agreed to be interviewed. We are so fortunate to have such
enthusiastic and faith-filled young adults as part of our parish community.
Next week we begin a new church year. To mark the beginning of Advent Meditation will be leading a
special service at St Augustine's next Sunday evening. I joined them at a similar event at St John
Houghton, Tiptree some time ago. I can guarantee a relaxed but spiritually fulfilling experience. Please do
come along and join us on the Journey.
May Christ our King fill you with every good gift.

"Let the children speak":
Susan (age 4) was drinking juice when she got the hiccups. Please don't give me this juice again,
she said, It makes my teeth cough.
Tammy (age 4) was with her mother when they met an elderly, rather wrinkled woman her Mum knew. Tammy looked at
her for a while and then asked, Why doesn't your skin fit your face?
