Parish News:
- Mass on Wednesday evening: will be at 7.00pm, preceding the RECONCILIATION SERVICE at 8.00pm
- The Augustinian: we are looking for articles for the next edition of our parish magazine. If at all possible, submit your articles to me by email as a Word document. But anything gratefully received in whatever format! Thank you, Fr Frank
- The Bishops' School Reading Club: is looking for more volunteers to listen to children reading. The club runs from 8.30 to 9.00 each morning. You can volunteer for any number of mornings - I do Thursday and Friday mornings, and find it most rewarding. Details from Mrs Forte in the school office, tel: 460107. Thank you, Fr Frank
- St Therese of Lisieux: The relics of St Therese are coming to England this year. The most convenient stopping off point for Springfield is the Shrine of Our Lady at Walsingham, where they will be displayed for veneration on Tuesday 6th October. If there is sufficient interest, we may be able to organise a coach from St Augustine's. If you would like to go, please add your name to the list at the back of church. Fr Frank
- New Hall School Open Day: A leading Catholic boarding and day school for boys and girls aged 3 -18. Monday 4th May 9am - 12.30pm. Student-led tours throughout the morning and talks by the Principal and current students at 10.30am and 11.30am followed by Equestrian Team Displays at 11.15am and 12.15pm. - Holy Week at Our Saviour (6th - 10th April): The church will be set up with displays and prayer stations again this year and we hope to have the church open form 10am to 12 noon, 2 - 4pm and 7 - 9pm each day. In order to do this we need two people to cover each slot. If you can help please let Fr Frank know.
- Easter Lilies: Each year we ask for special donations for Easter Lilies to decorate St Augustine's for our celebrations. If you would like to make a donation (a suggested donation of £3) in memory of a deceased loved one, please place your offering in an envelope marked 'for Easter Lilies' and pass it to Cath Lyons. Many thanks for your generosity.

- St John Payne School Lenten Service April 2nd 7.30pm: Parishioners are warmly invited to 'Born for This' a musical dramatisation of Jesus' journey to the cross. This moving, modern presentation will be accompanied by images from Sister Mary Stephen's Stations of the Cross.

- 10 or 19 mile bike ride Lea Valley Park Sunday 7th June Join supporters from CAFOD Westminster for this fun day out for all the family. The route takes us through the Lea Valley Park and along the canal towpath
- Triumph & Passion 3rd - 5th April: a Lent Retreat for Young People at Walsingham House. Come and join other young people from around the Diocese for a Lent Retreat where we will explore together what it means to be passionate and the Passion of Jesus.
