THE MOST HOLY TRINITY:
7th June 2009
Fr Frank writes:
Today we welcome Fr Amandus Kapele, a Holy Ghost Father, to all our Masses.
Last week we celebrated the great feast of Pentecost - the end of the Easter season, and a reminder to us that we are
living in the Era of The Church; an era marked by prayer and evangelisation.
Today we celebrate a great truth of our faith - that God is three and God is one: that God is a sacred Trinity of
Persons bound together in perfect unconditional love. This is wonderful in itself, but even more wonderful is that this
Trinity invites us to join them: invites us to share in that life of perfect love. The Rubliev Icon of the Holy Trinity
before the Blessed Sacrament in St Augustine's is a constant reminder of the truth of that invitation.
May God richly bless you; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
