TWELFTH SUNDAY OF YEAR B:
21st June 2009
Fr Frank writes:
As I write this, I am looking forward to the parish Walsingham Association's residential pilgrimage to Walsingham,
and by the time you read it I pray we will have safely returned.
Walsingham is a special place, and I, like so many, can never make pilgrimage there without experiencing a real
spiritual encounter with Our Lord and his blessed mother.
Needless to say we will have been praying for everyone in our parish whilst there.
If you have a devotion to Our Lady and would like to find out more about the Walsingham Shrine and the Walsingham
Association, please let me know - I never tire of talking about this subject!
May God bless you, and may Our Lady of Walsingham pray for you.

Parish News:
- Thanks from Kevin: Dear Fr Frank and parishioners, thank you so kindly for the surprise party last
Saturday allowing me to join with you to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of my ordination to the deaconate on 14th June
with Catherine, Rosaleen, and my family. Thank you for all the cards, congratulations, kind words and the cheque. I will
treasure all this and continue to be a minister of charity, with God's help, to carry out his work.
- Hymn Books: The number of hymn books in church is on the decline again. Please check your sock
drawers! Many thanks. Fr Frank.
- Thank you to everyone from the Holy Ghost Fathers: for your kind generosity in response to our
recent Mission Appeal. The £621.14 raised will greatly increase our ability to bring Christ to the poorest and most
neglected in response to their cries for help.

be booked with Christine Webb on 01245 256030 or by Email.
- Does your employer operate a Match Funding scheme?: As a registered charity we are eligible to
benefit from schemes where employers will match or contribute to their employees charitable donations. Please consider

yourself!
