Day trip to France: The Knights of St Columba will be making their coach trip on Tuesday 10th
November. The coach will cost £25, with optional meal at approx. £30, and opportunity for shopping at

The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA): teaching sessions for adults wishing to be
received into the Church at Easter 2010 begin at 8pm on Friday 23rd October at St Augustine's. If you would like to
be enrolled on the course, please speak to either Fr Frank or Deacon Kevin.
New Altar Servers: Any young person who has made their first Holy Communion and wishes to be trained
as an altar server please let Fr. Frank or Deacon Kevin know. It is hoped to begin the training soon.
Anglia Singers with The Choir of the Bishops' School: will perform a selection of light
classical and popular music from the 16th century to the present day at St Augustine's on Saturday 14th November at
7.30pm. Tickets £5 (children aged 5-16 £1, under 5s free) available from 01245 350988, St Augustine's

Annual Reunion Mass for Lourdes Pilgrims: All pilgrims past and present are reminded of this
year's Annual Reunion Mass which will be celebrated at the Cathedral in Brentwood on Saturday 31st October at 3pm,
followed by refreshments in the Hall.
Mary: Grace and Hope in Christ: A study day exploring Roman Catholic and Anglican understandings of
the Blessed Virgin Mary, Saturday 14th November at Chelmsford Cathedral Chapter House 2-5pm followed by Vespers of Our
Lady in Chelmsford Cathedral. Led by Canon Martin Warner, Canon Pastor at St Paul's Cathedral and Master of the

Changing Face of Britain National Celebration: at Westminster Cathedral, Saturday, 7th November,
