THIRTY-SECOND SUNDAY OF YEAR B:
8th November 2009
Remembrance Sunday
Fr Frank writes:
Thanks to your great generosity I have been able to send off a cheque to Survive Miva for £531.11, and have been
able to transfer £1,270 into the bank account of our twinned parish of Mhlumayo and a very impressive £4,369.65
(not counting the £200 received from the New Hall Coffee Club) to Fr Charles's parish in Uganda. Thank you one
and all. This constitutes a wonderful effort over the past two months and is a powerful testament to your commitment to
those less fortunate than ourselves. You are truly wonderful and inspirational people.
Another financial boost to our twins in South Africa and Uganda will result from the proceeds of the Anglia Singers
(plus young musicians from The Bishops' School) concert on 14th. If you haven't bought your tickets yet, please do
so. You are guaranteed a good night out as well as showing solidarity with our sisters and brothers in Mhlumayo and
Hoima.
May the God of the living and of the departed bless you now and always.
Father Frank

Some true answers to RE questions (or so I'm told!).
When Mary heard she was the mother of Jesus, she sang the Magna Carta.
St Paul cavorted to Christianity. He preached holy acrimony which is another name for marriage.
Jesus was born because Mary had an immaculate contraption.
