Don't forget our Lenten service of Reconciliation this coming Wednesday. This sacrament is right at the centre of
our preparation for the coming of Easter.

- Wine Tasting evening for World Challenge, Saturday 20th March at 7.30pm: Katie Wiseman has organized
a wine tasting event at St Augustine's Church Hall, to raise funds for her World Challenge expedition to Uganda this

- Sincere thanks from the SVP: to all who supported their quiz last Saturday. £692.75 was raised
towards feeding the babies at SVP feeding centres for refugees around Khartoum in the Sudan.
- Papal visit: During the recent Ad Liminia Visit, the Holy Father announced his forthcoming trip to
the UK. Sadly there is already opposition, headed by the Secular Society of Great Britain, who have launched an online
petition which has already attracted 20,000 signatures. A petition supporting the visit has only 1,200 signatures. You

- Chelmsford Lioness Club Fashion Show: St Augustine's Church Hall, Thursday 25th March 7.30pm for
8pm. Entry £5 including glass of wine or juice. Clothes manufactured for leading High Street stores. All ages
