The church of St Augustine of Canterbury is at Beardsley Drive, Springfield, CM1 6GX.
Sunday mass is at 9.00am and is a popular mass with many young families. Refreshments are served in St Augustine's small hall after the Sunday mass.
The children's liturgy takes place during the 9.00am mass. Ages range from three to eight. The children leave after the Opening Prayer for their own Liturgy of the Word and return at the Offertory, often processing with work relating to the readings. It is a wonderful opportunity for children to develop an appropriate understanding of the mass and offers parents space for their own reflection.
The parish is part of the North Springfield Ecumenical Project sharing St Augustine's church with the Anglican and Free Church communities. Their companion website can be found by following the link https://www.staugustinespringfield.org.uk/.
The parish is twinned with the Parish of Mhlumayo, diocese of Dundee, South Africa.
